AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Here are a few of my recommended products for at home wig maintenance.
Dome head
This product will allow you to have full control over styling your unit. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Hot Comb
this product will allow you to keep your unit flat while giving you the salon look. This tool gets extremely hot please be careful when using.
Wig Stand
Pairing this product with the dome head will allow you full control over styling your unit. Stying on your own head may not be the best for anyone new to wig wearing or styling.
Wax stick
Pair this product with your hot comb to get rid of any fly aways and secure a flat hold. This product is highly recommended.
Heat protector
This product should be used prior to using heat on your hair. One spray per section is all you need.
Lotta Body wrap lotion
This product is used to mold the unit and provide a flat look. This step is last in flattening your unit. Once applied to the top of hair use wrapping paper to secure the hold.
wrapping paper
Pair this product with wrapping lotion. This paper is very thin so be gentle when wrapping hair. Be firm but still gentle to prevent ripping.
Olive oil spritz
This is a light hold spritz that can be used when styling curls. This product will not make your hair crunchy. After wearing your hair curly it is recommended for you to wash your hair before flat ironing over old product.
Biosilk shampoo/conditioner
This product leaves hair feeling and smelling very refreshing. This product can be pricey compared to competitors and is not a necessity. However it is one of my favs. Tresemme is another good brand option if cost is being considered.
Biosilk Hair oil
10/10 This product is a must for long lasting vibrant hair. A small amount goes a long way. I typically use this product before styling. section your hair in 4. Apply a dime size amount in the palm of your hand and saturate the section. Using a blow dryer with a comb attachment allows the hair to be voluminous and shiny.
Row
This product can be used to make your parting more realistic. Always do a test spray to have an idea of how much product is released from each pump. It is recommended to spray at an angle and as far back as possible but still allowing the product to touch the surface.
